A Southern band founded on old-time family values, When Cousins Marry has been making music around Chapel Hill, N.C., for 25 years. We began as a rock and blues cover band. Then one day, to everyone’s amazement, we evolved. The 13 original songs on our debut CD, Shotgun Wedding, range from rock to country, blues, and beyond, making for a sometimes indescribable wedding of styles. This is what happens…when cousins marry. We’re available for parties and events within driving distance of Chapel Hill. The Weekly Independent once described us as “clean-cut, reasonably well-behaved, and cheap.”
